User Upload – NEW FEATURE
- You can now upload any tool from any brand to MachiningCloud:
- Go to “My Workshop/My Inventory”
- “Add Item”, you can specify any item from any brand or add an “Other” brand
- Once the item is added, select it and click on “Details”.
- Users can add 3D models and dimensions using a p21 file.
- The classification is populated automatically when uploading a p21 file but can also be set manually
- All User Upload items are fully functional in all MachiningCloud features including:
- Creating assemblies
- 3D/2D assemblies
- Job Reports
- Tool Advisor
- Export to CAD/CAM software
- Use Workgroups to share your custom tools with other users in your company
Machine Learning – NEW FEATURE
- Missing cutting conditions for various tools are now populated using advanced machine learning techniques.
MachiningCloud is committed to delivering manufacturer recommendations for every tool and workpiece material. In instances of missing data, our AI seamlessly steps in, leveraging Machine Learning trained on millions of known cutting conditions to provide accurate recommendations.
Import Instructions
- A new button has been added in the Export dialog: “Import Instructions”.
This button redirects to this webpage https://www.machiningcloud.com/technical-resources/.
We will be populating instructions on how to use the export package in your CAD/CAM software.
Export to Fusion
- Fusion360 export button is now enabled.
- The export will create a json file that can be imported into Fusion’s Tool Library.
- At launch many milling and drilling tools are supported as well as holders and other adaptive items.
Feeds and Speeds
- Update for Totem, Guhring
UI
- The Feeds and Speeds is using a new slider design and makes the dialogs more compact.
- Ae/Ap are now included in the result grid
- Item counts are displayed on the different tabs in the a job.
